Every Step You Take Matters
Walk for Health @ South East is Back!
Imagine this: an elderly neighbour, living alone, opens her door one morning to be greeted by volunteers with $100 worth of supermarket vouchers. This would be enough to stock her fridge for weeks. She didn't ask for help. But someone walked for her. That someone could be YOU.
From 22 August to 31 October 2026, Walk for Health @ South East returns for another season of community, movement, and meaning. The idea is simple: for every 1km you walk, $1 in supermarket vouchers is raised for a senior beneficiary right here in the South East District. No special gear required. Just YOU, putting one foot in front of the other.
Together, we're aiming for 200,000km - a collective journey that will benefit up to 2,000 seniors, each receiving $100 worth of supermarket vouchers, fully funded by the generosity of our corporate and individual donors. That's 2,000 real people. Real neighbours. Real difference.
So, lace up your shoes, bring a friend, and walk with purpose this season. The steps you take around your neighbourhood, your park, your daily commute, they add up to something far greater than the distance covered.
Walk for Health @ South East 2026. Walk for someone who needs it.
