WeCare Arts Fund and WeCare Arts Experiences
WeCare Arts Fund @ South East
The WeCare Arts Fund @ CDC is a grant scheme that is a collaborative effort between the Community Development Councils (CDCs) and the National Arts Council (NAC). Its primary objective is to provide support to Social Purpose Entities (SPEs) and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) by engaging their beneficiaries in artistic activities.
The fund supports project costs that involve artists working directly with SPEs/SHGs and their beneficiaries through the Performing, Visual, Literary and Multi-Disciplinary arts.
At South East CDC, participants under the programme are exposed to art forms such as dance, pottery or percussion workshop, etc.

WeCare Arts Experiences @ South East
As a component of an extended partnership between NAC and the five CDCs, the WeCare Arts Experiences (WCAE) promotes the participation of individuals from underprivileged backgrounds in contemporary arts and cultural events organised by the NAC and cultural institutions.
These experiences provide an opportunity for beneficiaries to connect through shared arts encounters with their immediate family members, caregivers, or friends, thereby enhancing social connections.
Social Purpose Entities (SPEs) and community partners like Grassroots Organisations (GROs) and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) are eligible to seek WCAE support through us.
Please refer to the programme menu for curated selection of eligible programmes.
